What is Fit4Baby®?

  • Fit4Baby® is a program designed to strengthen the body for all the changes it will experience during pregnancy. These classes exclusively focus on pregnant moms! (Other FIT4MOM® classes may include dads, nannies and other child caregivers.) Regular activity such as Fit4Baby® classes can help to reduce many maternal aches and pains, increase energy during pregnancy and may speed the labor, delivery and recovery process. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), exercise is just as important during pregnancy as any other time of life.
  • We train and certify our Fit4Baby® instructors so they are fully equipped to lead pregnant woman in exercises that are safe and appropriate for her changing body. Fit4Baby® classes are interval based, combining elements of strength training, cardiovascular exercises and stretching and balancing exercises.
  • Pregnancy is the perfect time to commit to you and your baby's health. Exercise is an important component to your pregnant well being, as well as your strength as a new mom.
  • Pregnancy is the perfect time to commit to health and exercise is an important component to well-being for pregnant women and new moms. What is the current Fit4Baby® schedule?

  • Fit4Baby® runs in 8 week sessions

  • Classes are Wednesdays 6:15-7:15pm and Saturdays 9-10am

When can I join Fit4Baby®?

You may join Fit4Baby® as early your medical provider approves exercise during pregnancy. Download the approval form here.

What are the session pricing options?

  • 8 class pass $179.
  • Additional classes can be added to the 8 class pass.
  • Several weeks before a new session, we offer presale options.

What is the session purchase policy for Fit4Baby®?

  • Non-Refundable
  • Non-Transferable
  • If your medical provider recommends and/or requires you to cease physical activity and exercise programs during your pregnancy, the unused classes, if any, for the session can be applied as credit to your account. You may use the credit towards Stroller Strides® class passes or membership once your medical provider approves exercise.

Stroller Strides® & Stroller Barre®

What is Stroller Strides® and Stroller Barre®?

Stroller Strides® and Stroller Barre® is a stroller-based fitness program designed for moms with little ones. Each 60-minute, total body workout incorporates power walking, strength, toning, songs and activities. Certified fitness instructors offer a variety of fun class formats both indoors and outdoors. Barre classes focus on holding exercise positions longer while mixing Barre and Pilates movements into the stroller based workout. All locations also offer a free Our Village events so moms can form lasting friendships with other moms through organized playdates, moms' nights out, and activities for the whole family.

What should I bring to class?

  • A sturdy stroller (doesn't need to be a running or jogging stroller)
  • Water
  • Wear comfortable clothes you can move in
  • Yoga mat or blanket/towel
  • A smile!

Where are the Stroller Strides®/Barre® classes held?

  • Ballard classes are mainly held at Ballard Church (Ballard Playspace) and the Seattle Public Library in Ballard. We do have specialty classes in the summer at Golden Gardens, Ballard Locks and other parks.
  • For specifics, check the current schedule and click on a specific class for details.
  • We post details of each day's class(es) on our Facebook page as well! Stay up-to-date by liking our page!

What are my pass and membership options for Stroller Strides®/Barre®?

  • Your first class is free! We offer this option so you can find out first hand if Stroller Strides and Stroller Barre are a good fit for you and your little one(s). (FYI: You will love it!)
  • Single class: $20 + tax
  • Class Pass Options: 10 classes are $140 + tax and expire in 3 months; 20 classes are $200 + tax and expire in 6 months. Both passes require a one-time equipment fee of $60 for a pair of resistance bands, tote, FIT4MOM headband and seasonal goodies.
  • Membership Option: Unlimited classes for $64 + tax per month. Membership will auto-bill your credit card until you request to place a hold or cancel your membership (30 days notice required). The membership requires a one-time equipment fee of $60 for a pair of resistance bands, tote, FIT4MOM headband and seasonal goodies.

What is the class pass and monthly membership policy for Stroller Strides®/Barre®?

  • Non-Refundable
  • Non-Transferable
  • Monthly fee will be charged to your credit card automatically every month on the day you started your membership.
  • Auto pay will continue until you cancel your membership.
  • 30 days notice is required in writing to cancel or place your membership on hold.
  • The equipment fee is a one time fee and will not be charged again if you reactivate your membership after canceling or placing your membership on hold. With a class pass, the equipment fee will only be charged with the first class pass purchased.
  • If you want to switch to a class pass, the remaining credit, if any, for the month can be used towards the purchase of a class pass. Alternatively, if you have a class pass and want to switch to a monthly membership, your remaining credit, if any, can be used towards the purchase of a class pass.
  • When class passes expire, any unused classes expire.

Body Back®

What is Body Back®?

Body Back® is a results-based workout designed for moms who want their body back, whether they just had a baby or their last child was born twenty years ago! Most importantly, it will help women unlock their personal possibilities in an inspiring and powerful environment. Body Back® clients experience targeted high-intensity workouts, inspiration and motivation in every class.

What Does Body Back® Include?

  • 2 HIIT workouts per week in a small group format
  • Meal Plan and Food Diary
  • Before/after fitness assessments and measurements
  • Accountability
  • Empowerment to strengthen and love your body today
  • Mama friends! Meet women who are in thick of motherhood

The workouts have been clinically proven in a university research study to help moms lose the weight and return to their pre-baby body composition and confidence. Moms all over the country are achieving results that they never dreamed possible.

What is the current Body Back® schedule?

Can I use my first free class for Body Back®?

  • You actually receive one free class of each program Fit4Mom Ballard and Shoreline provides: Fit4Baby®, Stroller Strides® and Body Back®
  • Since Body Back® runs in 8 weeks session cycles, we have specific days for "Bring a Buddy" classes where current Body Back® members are encouraged to invite friends and women interested in the program are also welcome to join class. These classes are super fun, partner based workouts and will give you the perfect taste of the Body Back® program.
