Exercise & Pregnancy

Yes. Yes, you can!

Congrats on your pregnancy! Your head is likely spinning with questions and wonder: What will motherhood be like? Will I have a boy or girl? How will motherhood change my life?

Can I exercise while I'm pregnant? Yes! Regular activity {aka Fit4Baby®} can help to reduce many pregnancy aches and complaints plus increase your mood! Who doesn't want to switch their mood from anxious to relaxed or tired to energized? According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), exercise is just as important during pregnancy as any other time of life. Pregnancy is the perfect time to commit to health; and exercise is an important component to well-being for pregnant women and new moms. Just like you are signing up for childbirth and parenting education classes, prenatal exercise classes are important for connecting and understanding your changing body.
